The App does not require an internet connection to function and does not send any data to us or any third party.

  1. Permissions Requested - HapticNerd requests the following permission on your Android device:

• android.permission.VIBRATE: This permission is essential for the core functionality of the App. It allows HapticNerd to control the vibration motor on your device to demonstrate various haptic feedback patterns. This permission is used solely for this purpose and does not grant us access to any of your personal data.

Data from Third-Party Services (Google Play) - While HapticNerd itself does not collect data, when you download and install the App from the Google Play Store, Google may collect aggregated, anonymous data (such as crash reports and installation statistics) as part of their service. This data is governed by Google’s own Privacy Policy and is made available to us in an anonymized form through the Google Play Console. We may use this anonymous data to understand how the App is performing and to fix bugs.

  2. Data Storage and Security - Because we do not collect any personal information, there is no user data stored by the App that requires securing. All App functions are performed locally on your device.

  3. Children’s Privacy - The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. It is designed to be safe for all audiences as it contains no data collection mechanisms.
